How do I send a tip?
Sending a tip is simple! Open the HustlePayMe app or website, use Bluetooth Nearby to discover earners around you, scan their QR code, or tap their NFC-enabled device. Select your tip amount, confirm payment, and you’re done. The entire process takes just seconds.
How do earners receive their money?
Earners receive tips directly to their connected payout method. You can link a bank account, debit card, or digital wallet. Standard payouts arrive within 1-2 business days, while instant payouts (available for a small fee) arrive within minutes.
How does Bluetooth Nearby work?
Bluetooth Nearby uses low-energy Bluetooth signals to discover HustlePayMe earners in your immediate vicinity. Simply enable Bluetooth on your device and the app will automatically detect earners who have their visibility toggled on. This creates a seamless, contactless tipping experience.
What if the QR/NFC doesn't open?
If you’re having trouble with QR or NFC: For QR codes, ensure your camera has permission to scan and there’s adequate lighting. For NFC, make sure NFC is enabled in your device settings and hold your phone close to the earner’s tag or device. If issues persist, try using Bluetooth Nearby or manually entering the earner’s HustlePayMe ID.
Is my payment information secure?
Absolutely. HustlePayMe uses bank-level encryption and partners with trusted payment processors like Stripe and Finix. We never store your full card details on our servers. All transactions are protected by industry-standard security protocols including PCI DSS compliance.
Do tippers need an account?
No! Tippers can send tips without creating an account. Simply scan a QR code or tap an NFC tag, and you’ll be guided through a quick checkout process. However, creating a free account allows you to track your tipping history, save payment methods, and earn rewards.
What are the platform fees?
HustlePayMe keeps fees simple and transparent. Tippers pay no fees – 100% of your tip goes to the earner. Earners pay a small processing fee (typically 2.9% + $0.30) on each transaction. There are no monthly subscription fees or hidden charges.
How long do payouts take?
Standard payouts typically process within 1-2 business days after the tip is received. Instant payouts are available 24/7 and arrive within minutes for a small additional fee. You can manage your payout preferences in your account settings.
